Hakodate is one of the major cities in Hokkaido. Reaching the top of 334m Mt.Hakodate with an aerial ropeway, you can enjoy an impressive night view of the city. Motomachi, located at the foot of the mountain, is an area with a lot of slopes dotted with Western-style buildings which were built in the early 20th century.
